Dunblane Hydro

In 2006, Ashbank Design Studios were responsible for the design of the 96 bedroom refurbishment of the Sterling Wing, a late 20th Century addition to the original 1878 grand Victorian Hotel based in Stirlingshire.

The brief was to develop a product suitable for both Leisure and Conference guests, which was contemporary in styling but at the same time blended with the more traditional elements of the original building. The result was a successful combination of traditional colours and textures, with simplicity of line and form.
